The main components of lubricating grease are base oil and thickener. Mineral oil is generally used as base oil, and synthetic oil can also be used as base oil under conditions with special requirements.
Thickener is an important characteristic component of lubricating grease. It is a solid particle that is relatively evenly dispersed in the base oil to form a grease structure. Thickeners can be divided into soap base and non soap base.
Soap based thickeners refer to fatty acid metal soaps, such as fatty acid calcium, sodium, lithium and aluminum.
Non soap based thickeners include paraffin and ground wax, bentonite and silica gel, polyurea, polytetrafluoroethylene, perfluoroethylene propylene copolymer, etc.
According to the performance requirements, additives such as adhesive solvent, antioxidant, extreme pressure anti-wear agent, rust inhibitor, waterproof agent and silk enhancer can also be added.
